Getting Started with HireBoost

Welcome to HireBoost! This guide will help you get started with our AI-powered job search and interview support platform.

What is HireBoost?

HireBoost supports job seekers through the full hiring journey: find jobs on the web, apply, get responses, then ace interviews with the desktop app. It serves all roles — tech, sales, operations, finance, and more.

Job search (web): Semantic job search across roles. Filter by skills, location, remote. Unlock with credits.

Interview support (app): When you get interview invites, use the desktop app. Real-time transcription, AI-powered answer suggestions with optional human support in real time, all invisible during screen sharing.

Step 1: Search Jobs (Web)

1. Sign up at hireboost.app and verify your email
2. Go to Jobs in the dashboard
3. Unlock job search with credits (100 credits per month)
4. Search by title, skills, or description across roles — tech, sales, operations, finance, and more
5. Apply to roles that match your profile

Step 2: Download and Install (When You Get an Interview)

1. Visit our download page and download the HireBoost desktop app
2. Install on Windows or Mac
3. Sign in with the same account as the web

Step 3: Set Up Your Profile

1. Upload your resume to help AI generate personalized suggestions
2. Add your skills and experience
3. Customize your answer style preferences

Step 4: Start Your First Session

1. Go to Interview Sessions → Create Session
2. Pick AI Only or Human Support mode
3. Choose interview step: Behavioral, Live Coding, System Design, or Code Review (helps tailor AI context; Live Coding uses higher credit rates)
4. Select a profile and add job description
5. Start the session and click Start Listening when the interview begins
6. Get real-time transcription and AI suggestions as the interview progresses

• Test the app before your actual interview
• Ensure your microphone is working properly
• Use screen capture to add visual context for AI answers
• Keep the app running throughout the interview
• Review transcriptions after the session for improvement
